I pray you and yours are doing well!

Last month I was part of a team that traveled to Quessua, Angola, and I wanted to share with you some of the amazing things that God is doing throughout the land.

The first “graduation” of children from the RUTF (Ready to Use Therapeutic Food) program took place while we were at the Quessua Mission. At 2 and 4 years of age respectively, Mauricio and Tairson are part of this group. The pictures below were taken two months apart. What a miraculous transformation!

During that same week, a truck delivered the rest of the RUTF treatments (750) that had been stuck at the Luanda port for over three months. Oh, the joy!

This is Sona village, where just a couple of weeks ago a well was installed. Below, a village gathering with the visiting Florida team to give thanks to the Lord for His provision and consecrate the well.

Living in Faith, SEE International, and the East Angola/Florida partnership have worked together for over a year to prepare conditions for eye surgeries at the Quéssua hospital. Thanks to the vision and devoted work of many, 45 people had cataract and/or glaucoma surgery and are now able to see. And this is just the beginning!

With your donations towards the purchase of RUTF treatments for severely malnourished children, clean water, medical resources, scholarships for High School and College, etc. you are bringing about significant change in the name of the Lord and I want to thank you on behalf of our partners in Angola.

As we move into a new season of producing the RUTF locally at the Quéssua Mission to benefit many more children, I ask that you continue to partner with us in this ministry.
